Hyatt Herald Square New York Hotel

Great staff made our stay enjoyable! Comfy room, upscale bathroom - just needs a modern touch. Free luggage storage and valet parking were a plus. The rooftop bar has amazing views. Good value, despite a few hiccups. Perfect location to explore NYC!

My recent stay at this hotel was fantastic. the staff was very friendly and helpful, making me feel welcomed throughout my visit. the central location was truly amazing, allowing easy access to nearby attractions and transportation. the room service was exceptional, and the hotel design was lovely, creating a cozy atmosphere. the comfortable bed and clean bedding made for a restful night's sleep, while the bar area was perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring the city.

Despite the positive aspects, there were a couple of areas that could be improved. the gym/workout room was below basic, lacking weight machines which could have enhanced the fitness experience for guests.

We appreciated this place. Everything was very clean, competent staff made our stay real good! It was in a super central setting very near to Broadway.

Really enjoyable stay for nine nights on the occasion of a business trip, loved location and rooms. Everything was excellent, its great on-site restaurant was a bonus.

The staff was friendly, location great for exploring, wifi reliable, and the rooftop bar and gym were convenient. A fire evacuation disrupted our stay, but the staff were kind. Overall, a pleasant Americana experience.

The hotel was a great value, with spacious rooms and comfy beds. The sun terrace was a lovely spot to relax in between exploring the city and going to Times Square. Unfortunately, we encountered some confusion at the front desk about extra charges, which caused unnecessary stress and frustration during our stay. 💔

Good location if you need to be around 30s/ MSG / Bryant park short walk etc. Valet parking made getting in easy. Representatives were pleasant, allowing for early check-in. Clean, spacious room. Affordable price compared to nearby options. Bug-free space with efficient thermostat. Great for a short NYC trip. The rooftop bar was a nice feature. The Phil Collins concert at MSG was within walking distance, enhancing our stay and creating lasting memories with the family. The nearby landmarks, such as Bryant Park, made exploring the city convenient, fostering family bonding and enjoyment.

Superbly friendly staff, contemporary rooms, incredible breakfast and good wi-fi. This nicely appointed hotel had very central setting in the centre. I liked the room, the bed was exceptionally comfortable. Late check-out too.

Omg guys, the location of this hotel is spot on for exploring nyc! 🗽the breakfast menu was diverse and yummy. Rooms were spacious and clean with all amenities. Only downside, room service was hit or miss. 🛏🍳🌆

The hotel's location was convenient but the service was disappointing. My room wasn't ready on time, and I had to settle for a lesser room or wait until 6pm. The hotel charged extra fees for minimal amenities and the overall condition was shabby. Despite these issues, the beds were comfortable, the shower was good, and the location was ideal for exploring NYC.

extremely loud air conditioning. first they gave away a wrong room. after visiting the reception again, we got the booked category, unfortunately still with some cigarette smell, from the guests who lived before. was announced at the reception. option was to stay only in the old room with two beds or to take the new one in the right category with the light smoking smell.

The proximity to Washington Square Park was the main reason for choosing Hyatt. It was a pleasant surprise to find a vast range of dining options at the hotel, including an espresso bar and snack shop which perfectly satisfied other drink and food needs. The surrounding area was vibrant, offering a plethora of dining and accommodation choices.

Hotel two blocks from the Empire State Building and 5 minutes walk from Penn Station. Incredible view of the Empire State Building from our room!

A little more flexibility on the part of the staff at breakfast (at $21 breakfast it should be possible to get two slices of toast bread in addition to scrambled eggs and potatoes). The air conditioner/heater is quite noisy. The cleanliness of the carpet in the room leaves something to be desired (we left a small piece of paper on the floor and it was still there the day we left).

Let me spill the deets on the farm-fresh fruit and loco good eats at Hyatt—yum alert! Plus, diggin' that quiet vibe and prime Penn Station locale. Bonus: Close to top-notch nosh spots like Woodpecker by David Burke and Gaonnuri.

Okay, so the bed corners are sneaky little ankle biters, careful now. Oh, watch out for that head-level fridge cabinet ninja move.

The hotel boasts a great central location, friendly and helpful staff, and a rooftop with stunning views of the city. However, the room assignments were not as requested, and some guests may find the rooms slightly small.

Hotel very well located just 10min walk from Times square and next to Broadway with 31. Subway just 3 minutes away. Clean hotel, great service and rooms with everything you need.

One day we did not have the possibility of breakfast included, since the dining room was closed x some of the employees were indisposed. We were told that it would be reimbursed but no news at the moment.

We appreciated the convenient location, with easy access to major attractions like Times Square and the Empire State Building. The hotel's cleanliness and helpful front desk staff were also positives, especially since we were traveling with kids and needed the space of double queen beds. Overall, our stay had its ups and downs, but the location and room setup worked well for our family visit to the city.

unfortunately, i expected a little more. everything was falling apart. door of the bathroom was broken. toilet roll holder was defective, window was not screwed on properly. every terrain was loose... cheaply built and you can see and feel that.

location of the hotel is very central, well connected, despite the location (well attended) quiet if you want to sleep. breakfast is more than you can expect under "continental", selection is sufficient and deliciously everything always nicely presented. hotel has been modernized and has comfortable rooms, nice lobby and roof-top with a top view over the city. whole team is dedicated to service and everyone takes care of the guest in their own area. can highly recommend the hyatt herald square.

maybe the prices of the drinks within the happy hour and extras are a bit high, you can't expect anything else in nyc.

I chose this hotel for a seminar and found it suitable for both work and leisure. The central location made it convenient to attend the seminar and explore nearby attractions. The room was comfortable and provided a good environment for focusing on work tasks.

The only service that I missed for my work was the availability of a business center with printing and scanning facilities.

Lack of space to arrange the babble

As a couple, we loved the comfortable beds and the incredibly kind and helpful staff. The hotel provided everything we needed for a great stay, including good toiletries. The lobby and bar were also very attractive, and the location was perfect with plenty of restaurants and bars nearby. Plus, the iconic Empire State Building was just a few minutes' walk away, offering a fantastic view from both the rooftop bar and our bed.

I had a fantastic stay at Hyatt Herald Square for my 21st! The staff, especially Judy, David, and Kevin, were incredible and made my birthday unforgettable. The location is great, close to Penn Station but not too busy. Check-in was a breeze and we got a free room upgrade with an amazing view of the Empire State Building. The library bar downstairs was a highlight, with delicious food and drinks. Can't wait to come back!

I had a fantastic stay at the hotel. the quality of the food at Hyatt Herald Square was excellent. the central location was perfect, just a 2-minute walk to Macy's and within 15 minutes of other attractions. the staff were very friendly and accommodating, from the front desk to the maintenance crew and the cleaning staff. Our room, although a bit limited in clothing storage, was comfortable and suited our needs. And let's not forget the highlight of the rooftop bar with its amazing view.

The hotel's modern decoration added a touch of elegance to our experience, and the rooftop exclusively for guests offered breathtaking views of the empire state.

The hotel's location was perfect for exploring the city, as it was close to Penn Station and the subway, making it easy to reach all the major interest areas. Additionally, the staff was very accommodating, printing out our boarding cards and providing excellent recommendations around the city. The breakfast was great, with French toast being especially good. Lastly, the facilities were surprising, with a fridge, bottled water, tea.

The hotel location was great, it was nearby many attractions such as Times Square and the subway, making it very accessible for us to explore the city. The room and bathroom were clean and tidy, and the staff was very helpful. Although the breakfast wasn't the best compared to other places we found, the room was equipped with a mini fridge, large TV, and nice toiletries.

The rooftop terrace bar had limited hours and availability, as it closed at 11 pm and was sometimes booked for private parties.

The rustic wooden espresso counter at the bistro provided a cozy atmosphere, perfect for savoring a hot cup of coffee and people-watching. I felt like a character in a classic New York novel, soaking in the city's energy as I sipped my coffee.
